Enhanced Contact Visibility for Precise Bookkeeping

We know that accuracy is the backbone of your accounting. Whether you’re managing a single vendor with multiple locations or dozens of contacts with similar names, selecting the right person shouldn't be a guessing game.

Today, we are excited to announce a highly requested update: Addresses are now visible directly within your contact dropdowns.


Say Goodbye to the Guesswork

Until now, distinguishing between multiple contacts with the same name required extra clicks or manual cross-referencing. This update is designed to streamline your workflow and eliminate data entry errors by providing instant context where you need it most.

When you start typing a name during transaction entry, the primary address will now appear alongside the contact name, allowing you to confidently select the correct property, vendor, or donor every time.

Where You’ll See It

This enhancement is integrated across the core areas of the platform to ensure consistency in your daily tasks:

  • Register: Speed up your check entry and banking.

  • Accounts Payable: Ensure payments are coded to the correct vendor location.

  • Contributions & Deposits: Perfectly attribute donations to the right contact.

  • Journal Entries & Recurring Transactions: Maintain precision in your more complex accounting tasks.


How to Enable This Feature

Because we know every user has a preferred way of working, this feature is a per-user toggle. You can customize your view without affecting your teammates' settings.

To turn on address visibility:

  1. Navigate to your Profile Preferences under the organization details dropdown in the top right corner.

  2. Locate the for Show Contacts' Primary Address section.

  3. Toggle to enable and enjoy a clearer view of your data.
