How it Works

This integration allows users to maximize efficiency by avoiding the need to complete double entry within their donor management system and their Aplos accounting. Now, contributions entered into your Bloomerang account will funnel into your Aplos accounting, meaning you're free to spend more time on your mission instead of your administrative duties. We'd say that's a huge win!

Link Your Account

Follow the steps below to begin using this integration. We suggest having both your Aplos and Bloomerang accounts open and accessible when completing the set-up.

1. Login to your Aplos account and navigate to Settings -> Partners
   
2. Select “Link My Account” for the Bloomerang Application
   
   
   
3. Under the Manage Integration section select “Grant Access”.
   
   
4. Set up your accounting configuration
   • Cash Account: where you would like transactions to be deposited.
   • Expense Account: where you would like to track transaction fees.
   • Expense Contact: where you assign the vendor for these incoming transaction fees.
     
     
5. Enter Aplos Account ID Key provided and enter it into Bloomerang

Once enabled, any eligible transactions you enter into Bloomerang will be sent to Aplos. Eligible transactions are defined as any transaction entered on or after the integration has been set up. Your screen should reflect a hyperlink titled "linked." You can select this link to see the transaction in Aplos.

Please note, Bloomerang transactions recorded before you integrated with Aplos are not automatically added to Aplos. To add them, you can contact support@bloomerang.co to request a data service or you may add these transactions manually. To learn how to manually add these transactions check out this article.
