Using International Currency

Aplos can be used in any country, and we even have different currency symbols that you can use. You can select the preferred currency symbol from Settings, and if your currency isn’t offered let us know and we can add it in.

Using Multiple Currencies and Applying Exchange Rates

As for managing multiple currencies, this is more difficult. You are able to setup multiple banks (asset accounts) in Aplos and manage both balances in their respective currency values, however this could get confusing on reports, since the system does not apply exchange rates. The only real way to support multi-currency in Aplos, and have it appear correctly on your reports, would be to manage the two currencies as separate accounts in Aplos and oversee them using Aplos Oversight. This platform includes the ability to access and manage both accounts, designate multiple currencies, apply exchange rates, and create consolidated financial reports. To learn more about setting up and Aplos Oversight, check out this resource.
