You can track payments to vendors who will need a From 1099-NEC or 1099-MISC. In order to do so you will need to complete the following
- Enable 1099 Tags here:https://www.aplos.com/aws/am/1099s\
- Once enabled, you will click on Manage 1099 Tags at the top of the page to map your expense accounts to the appropriate 1099 categories.
- After your accounts are mapped, you can add contacts into the 1099 Vendor group under Contacts.
That's it! Unlike other types of tags, your 1099 tags are automatically applied to transactions based on the mapping that you've completed.
When it's time to generate and print Form 1099 you'll do so from the 1099 report.
